The GUS-834/11383 is a heavy-duty EPDM rubber lower radiator hose manufactured by GEARUP SUPPLY in Hungary, engineered for JCB 3CX, 4CX, and Telemaster cooling systems equipped with JCB DieselMax 4.4L or Perkins engines. This 90° molded elbow hose features synthetic fiber reinforcement and a critical internal metal spring in the corrugated section to prevent collapse under vacuum during engine cool-down.
With an overall length of approximately 600mm (24 inches), the hose has different end diameters: approximately 57mm (2.25″) on the engine/water pump side and approximately 51mm (2.0″) on the radiator side. It handles standard cooling system pressure of 15-20 PSI across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
The built-in anti-collapse spring is an essential feature for lower radiator hoses, preventing suction collapse that can lead to overheating and engine damage.
